Due to significant investment in automation over a number of years, Patronics finds it’s UK plant already a competetive EMS provider and as a result already attracts pcba and box build manufacture from low to high volume. With the wish to support product cost down year on year, Patronics has recognised a need in the market for a managed offshore supply provided by a manufacturer rather than just from an agent.
Patronics is in a unique position to manage the manufacture of product from low cost countries. As a producer of a wide range of electronic products from a number of market sectors, Patronics can provide technical as well as commercial support for products that lend themselves to off shore manufacture. Product design, start up, prototype and pre-production can be accomplished in the UK. The declining phase of the product life can also be provided for.
Complete or part manufacture can be carried out off shore with final assembly and test carried out in Plymouth if necessary. The service offered includes logistics management so the end customer sees product delivered to their door.
