- Level of build and test required.
- Quantities and batch sizes and required delivery schedule
- Bill of Materials marked up to show free-issue and procured items
- Special Approvals required
For PCB Assembly
- Bill of Materials
- Component layout drawing referenced to BOM for each populated side.
- Dimension PCB drill detail (drawing or Gerber data on floppy disk or by email)
- Details of special requirements e.g. lead protrusion, masking
- Finished sample if possible
For Mechanical Assembly
- Bill of Materials
- Assembly drawings
- Finished Samples
For in Circuit Test
- Schematic diagrams of circuitry
- Details of nodal access to the PCB e.g. net list or neutral file from CAD.
For Functional or System Test
- Test specification describing tests required, or, where test rig exists, test procedure.
- Where test rig exists, a statement of test run time acceptable alternatives.
For Material Procurement
- Bill of Materials specifying full manufacturer’s part number and specification, details of all components which are manufacturer specific and acceptable alternatives.
- Bill of Materials supplied either via Gerber Data or hard copy
- For all drawn parts such as metal work, suitable drawing and specs. Also details of existing manufacturers
- For bare PCB, Gerber data on floppy or via email
